KNOWING GOD || Koinonia Abuja Sunday Service

The prime concern in our Christian journey is our relationship with Jesus. Material possessions and achievements can never be equated to having a personal relationship with God.
We need to sit down and begin to take God seriously; God is instructing us to return to the secret place.
Just because you know God is mysterious does not mean his ways cannot be vetted; you can probe into anything using spiritual parameters.
In the Kingdom of God, our pride is not predicated on the accolades of men nor our achievements, but in our knowledge of God. (Jeremiah 9:23-24)

I pray may God continue to use him and continue to give him more strength in Jesus mighty name Amen . I started watching him through Facebook and each time am listening to his massage i have my writing materials assuming am in church but since that time i feel my spiritual life began to grow,my prayer life just changed,i start receiving new songs, my behavior changed, my reasoning just changed, i started discovering each time am asked to pray i feel something in me,each time we went out as group they will ask me pray, some start to believe in my prayers that God answers my prayers. One day the group went to visit one of us his mother was sick so i could not go,he called me and told me that i no am going to pray for his mother and i didn’t come for the visit that he is not happy with me i thought is a joke,i told him am sorry we laugh about it, the nexttime he called me again and he says the mother will be going through operation, had it been i came that day and prayed for her the issue of operation may have not arise i become quite awhile i pray for him on phone so from there i was like that means this things am doing is making sense out of me,when i was transferred to Yobe State my spiritual life just totally changed and to glory of God when he starte the program in ABUJA the first time i attend it was so powerful, the second time i was among those the annointing of speed fall on. That which God have started doing in us it is our prayers to continue even more than that in Jesus mighty name Amen . BORNO STATE.

MAXIMIZING DESTINY (IDENTITY, PURPOSE & MEANING) – Apostle Joshua Selman (Koinonia Abuja)

Understanding your identity is a call to a settled sense of confidence.

Let your identity be defined by what God has said about you, not any other opinion.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU FIND YOUR GIFT:

1. Identify it
2. Refine it
3. Serve

FOLLOWERS OF THEM (The Advantage of Models & Patterns) – Apostle Joshua Selman (Koinonia Abuja)

PRINCIPLES OF PROFITABLE FOLLOWERSHIP

1. Profitable followership demands genuine connection and followership. Never follow an individual you cannot truly be committed and loyal to; it is a disservice to yourself.

2. Followership becomes profitable only when the learner or the follower remains a student. (Luke 6:40)

3. Profitable followership must factor in the limitations of the vessels that they follow. Never expect godlike perfection from the people you follow, you will be disappointed.

Guiding Principle for Models, References, and Pioneers:
_
All models must remain students themselves and never have an arrival mentality. The way models remain models is by continuing to be students while being models.
_
Humility is an antidote for shame and embarrassment.

THIS IS THE GENERATION: THE MAKING OF MIGHTY MEN BY Apostle Joshua Selman

What will make our generation different from other generations is not merely our prayers, fasting, or spiritual activities, it is a product of humility, alignment, and through an election of grace, that we receive delivery of the supernatural power of God from the realm of the Spirit, where it resides to the realm on earth where it is needed.

In essence, we do not pay the price Jesus Christ has already paid for us on the cross, we pay the price of alignment to receive delivery of what has been paid for.
