Earlier, Allison was sited on the couch in her house, it was not that dark but it was getting dark. She started at Cisco’s picture, it was on her phone but online.
“Aren’t you going to call? Do you mean it when you said you don’t care anymore?” She asked staring at the picture. “I miss you,” she confessed still staring at the picture.
She has been in love with Cisco since the first day they met which was two years ago but her ego won’t let her admit it.
She lied about not needing love because she wanted to play hard to get, she thought he would try to make her love him but he did quite the opposite. He ignored her and left her to deal with her one side love.
“Ally,” Jerry her manager called with a tablet in his hand. “Cancel all my shoots and appointments for the rest of the day,” she ordered.
“Everything?” He asked, that was the first time she will be canceling her appointments, she won’t miss any of it not even for the president.
“How many do I have?” She asked. “Just two, one interview and one shoot,” he replied.
“Why did you make it sound as if I have hundreds,” she queried. “My apologies, I was just surprised,” he replied.
“Get a limo ready, there is someone I have to pay a visit,” she said and stood up, Jerry stared at her confused until she got Into her room.
“What has got into her?” Jerry wondered before typing something on the tab.
***********
The room was as silent as a graveyard after Mavis asked that question. ‘I do but I am not proud to be her boyfriend. I don’t deserve it,’ Cisco thought.
“Time is running out,” Mavis reminded him. He looked at them in the eyes and diverted his gaze at the floor, Thea stared at him and she felt pity for him.
‘Why do I feel sorry for him? Is it because his eyes are filled with pain?’ Thea wondered in her mind.
“Mr…” Thea interrupted Mavis. “Let’s skip the question and quit this game,”
“Why are you calling off the game? It’s too early,” Mavis complained. “It’s almost midnight, aren’t you going home?” Thea asked getting up.
“Midnight? Home?” Mavis repeated picking up her phone to check the time. “It is just a few minutes past seven,” she added.
“You should go home, you are overstaying your welcome,” Thea said pulling her arm. “Why does it sound like you are sending me away?” Mavis asked with a frown, she was already standing.
Cisco was still sited with his head bowed, Thea glanced at him then back at Mavis. ‘Since when is she slow-witted?’ Thea wondered as Mavis frowned at her.
“Let’s go Mavvy,” she said dragging her along. “I don’t want to leave yet,” Mavis complained.
“You can visit some other time,” she said and Fiona helped her to open the door while she walked out with Mavis.
“What is your problem? I’m not going to steal your boyfriend,” Mavis spat as Thea let go of her. “He is my boss and friend, not my boyfriend,” Thea retorted.
“Whatever,” Mavis rolled her eyes. “He is not comfortable with personal questions, I don’t understand why you fail to see that?” Thea scolded with her hand on her waist and the other on her hair.
“We were having fun I had no idea he didn’t’ want me to pry, you should have told me,” Mavis accused. “I had no idea you were going to ask such,” Thea retorted.
“Is he offended? I hope he isn’t,” Mavis uttered nervously. “No he isn’t, he isn’t the type to hold grudges,” Thea assured.
Mavis interlocks her hand with Thea’s. “What’s wrong you?” Mavis inquired when she won’t stop grinning.
“He is not the type to hold grudges,” Mavis mimick Thea’s voice. “What’s going through that naughty mind of yours?” Thea asked.
“You sound like you have known him forever? Tell me the truth,” Mavis requested. “What truth?” Thea inquired.
“You like him, don’t you?” Mavis asked. “You should leave now,” Thea said dragging her to the cab that stopped in front of the mansion.
“I’ll pay,” Thea volunteered and paid the cab man. “I’ll invite you when next I want you to visit,” Thea said to Mavis and peck her cheeks.
“Seriously? You are avoiding my question?” Mavis scoffed and Thea pushed her into the cab.
Thea puffed out some sir and went back in, Cisco was now standing by the door with his hands tucked in his pocket.
“She is gone,” Thea informed and he nodded. “I will be in my room, call me when you need me,” She added.
“Thanks,” Cisco appreciated and Thea stopped walking. “Why are you thanking me?” She asked not turning around.
He walked closer to her and said, “I have never kissed Allison.”
“I don’t understand, why are you telling me?” She asked. He chuckled and replied, “just like you said use an answer to solve a puzzle,” he went upstairs afterward.
“He has an ex?” She exclaimed and her hand flips to her mouth, the doorbell rang and distracted her, and a maid rushed to the door and open it to reveal Allison.
“Allison? Why is she here? Cisco said she never visit,” Thea mumbled as she watched her walk further into the room.
Allison glared at Thea as she walked further into the room, “aren’t you going to greet me?” She asked and that snapped Thea into consciousness.
“I’m sorry good evening,” Thea greeted. “Didn’t your parents teach you to greet or do you need a reminder before you can do so?” Allison asked.
“Excuse me? You don’t just walk in here like a strayed cat and speak rudely to me,” Thea snapped.
“Strayed cat? How dare an ordinary maid speak to me with disrespect? Don’t you know who I am? I am your boss’s girlfriend!” She retorted.
“I am not a maid and I don’t give a damn about who you are, you look like some cheap harlot to me,” she said and shook her head sideways. “I can’t believe Cisco is dating someone like you,” Thea spat
Allison burned in fury, some strange girl in her boyfriend’s home is speaking rudely to her. “Cisco? How dare you call him by name! Where is Cisco? Get him here to explain himself!” Allison demanded.
“He’s in his room, you should know where toat is since you see his ‘girlfriend’,” Thea air quoted the word girlfriend.
“Or you don’t know where that is?” Thea asked mockingly. “I…, er…, call him for me!” Allison snapped.
“I guess you don’t, I’ll get him for you to save you the embarrassment of getting lost,” Thea said and went upstairs.
“That bîtch! Cisco will answer to me,” she growled as she watched Thea walk upstairs. Thea didn’t knock before entering Cisco’s room, he hid something in his drawer immediately after he heard the door open.
“You should learn how to knock,” Cisco snapped turning to face her. “I’m sorry, I was getting my revenge on someone,” she explained simply.
“Revenge? Don’t tell me your friend is back!” He exclaimed. “No it’s your girlfriend,” she replied.
“Girlfriend? Allison?” He asked and she nodded. “You joke a lot,” he said.
“I’m not kidding, your girlfriend Is out there,” she said. “Allison has never been here,” he muttered and rushed out of the room with Thea behind her.
Allison’s back was turned to him as she was admiring the house. “Hey,” Thea said and she turned around with a frown.
“Ally, what are you doing here?” Cisco asked walking closer and Thea behind him. “First, who is this bïtch?” She questioned referring to Thea
“I have no bítch in my house,” Cisco replied. “Well not until you walked in,” Thea added.
“What did you say?” Allison inquired walking closer but Cisco stood between them making her stop. “What are you doing?” Allison asked.
“What are you doing?” He questioned back. “Are you defending her?” She asked.
He had no response to her answer so he kept quiet. “Aren’t you going to give me an answer? Why are you defending her? Who is she to you?” Allison inquired.
“Why do you care? Who I am is none of your business!” Thea retorted. “I don’t want to know you,” Allison replied.
“I don’t want to be known by you either,” she replied. “Why are you here Allison?” Cisco asked.
“Aren’t I allowed to visit my boyfriend? She asked touching his chest. “Boyfriend? The one you humiliated?” Thea asked.
“I beg your pardon, whatever I do to and with my boyfriend is none of your business,” Allison snapped throwing daggers with her eyes.
“It isn’t, but stop pretending to be a saint when you are a devil,” Thea spat. “Devil? You called me a devil?” Allison asked.
“Is that what I said? I meant to say snake,” Thea feigned an apologetic expression. “Cisco, you heard her right? She called me a devil,” Allison reported to Cisco.
