Greg could be seen preparing breakfast in the kitchen, the house has not been the same since he fought with his wife.
They don’t eat together and she sleeps in their daughter’s room which only saddened him more, it was just three days to Flora’s birthday and he didn’t want it to be celebrated without him.
“Good morning Naomi,” Flora greeted as she sat at the dining table. “Morning dear, how was your night?” Naomi asked.
“Good,” she replied. “Where is your mommy?” Naomi asked. “Getting ready, why isn’t breakfast served?” Flora asked staring at the empty table.
“Ohh, breakfast isn’t going to be prepared by me,” Naomi replied. “What do you mean?” Flora asked.
“She meant, I’ll be the chef for today,” Greg replied as he walked towards the table with a bowl containing food.
Flora stared at him as he dropped the bowl in the middle of the table. “I’ll help you, sir,” Naomi said and went into the kitchen.
“You have never tasted daddy’s food right? You should today,” Greg said and went back to the kitchen.
“Did he wake up on the wrong side of the bed? Why is he being nice?” Flora wondered as she stared at the delicious-looking food on the table.
“Princess,” Octavia called as she dropped her bag on the dining table. “Why is Naomi taking so long to prepare breakfast this morning?” Octavia asked no one as she fixed her wristwatch.
“Naomi didn’t prepare this,” Flora said. “She didn’t?” Octavia inquired staring at the food.
“Good morning ma’am,” Naomi greeted coming from the kitchen with plates and cutleries. “Why is breakfast taking so long?” Octavia queried.
“I’m sorry it took a while to prepare everything since I have not cooked in a while,” Greg apologized coming from the kitchen too, he had a jug containing orange juice and three cups in his hand.
“What are you doing?” Octavia questioned. “Isn’t it obvious? I am trying to apologize to you guys,” he answered.
“Apologize? By bribing us with food?” She scoffed and stared at everything he prepared then back at him. “Too bad we are not gluttons, you can eat it alone,” she spat and carried her bag.
“Let’s go, Flora,” she said and turned to leave but halt when Greg apologized. “I am sorry Octavia, I regret what I did,” he apologized.
“Let’s go, Flora, you are running late,” she said and took a few steps towards the door but stopped again when she heard no footsteps behind her.
She turned to see Flora still standing by the dining table. “Let’s go princess, you don’t want to be late,” she said.
“Daddy apologized mommy,” she said and Octavia frowned in confusion. “What are you talking about sweetie?” Octavia asked walking towards her.
“You said people deserve forgiveness as long as they acknowledge their mistakes and apologize, dad admits his mistakes and apologized don’t you think we should forgive him?” Flora asked and Greg felt tears pierce his eyes.
“Flora,” Octavia called. “I’m sure he made this food with lots of love, don’t let his energy go to waste let’s forgive him, he is still my dad and he is still your husband,” she said and Naomi smiled while Greg and Octavia stared at each other.
Flora went to Greg and hugged his waist. “I forgive you, dad,” she said and Greg carried her, she wrapped her leg around his waist and her arm around his neck.
“Thank you, princess,” he appreciated and Octavia stared away, he walked towards her with Flora in his arm. “Forgive me, love,” he requested and hugged her, she wrapped her arms around him too.
“I will serve breakfast,” Naomi volunteered and started dishing food for everyone.
“Happy Birthday in advance sweetie,” Greg wished Flora and she smiled. “We should check out what you prepared,” Octavia said and they took a sit at the table.
“Daddy,” Flora called and he raised his head. “I can invite whoever I want to my birthday right?” She asked.
“Of course, you can I have no problem with that,” he assured. “Thank you, daddy!” She appreciated.
“Happy Birthday princess,” Octavia wished and she smiled.

Mr. and Mrs. Kings were having breakfast with Vin when a maid walked toward them. “Sorry to disturb you but Miss Allison is outside, should I let her in?” She asked.
“What sort of question is that? Don’t you know Allison Is part of this family?” Mr. Kings asked. “I ordered them to report to us before she steps in here,” Mrs. King chirped in.
“I’ll head to school now,” Vin said grabbing the tablet by his plate, he pecked his mom and left.
“I’ll be in our room too,” Mrs. Kings said and left. “What is wrong with everyone?” Mr. Kings wondered as he stared at the empty chairs.
“Should I let her in?” The maid asked and Mr. Kings noticed her presence. “Yes!” He screamed and the maid ran to the door.
Mr. Kings stood up too and went to the sitting room, he opened his arms to hug Allison as he saw her but she simply rolled her eyes.
“What’s wrong?” He inquired walking closer to her. “I should ask you that, what the heck happened?!” She snapped at him and he flinched.
“Allison,” he called in astonishment. “Mr. Kings,” she replied. “Did I do something wrong? What’s up with this strange and new attitude of yours?” He questioned.
“Your son and her so-called female friends who live with him,” she replied. “Female friend? I don’t understand,” Mr. Kings said.
“I went to Cisco’s house yesterday, he has not been calling or texting, it’s like he wanted to put an end to our relationship. I got to his house only to be welcomed by some rude lady who Cisco claimed to be his friend,” she retorted.
“Friend? My son hardly makes friends,” he said. “I had the same thought until I saw how Cisco was so protective of this so-called friend of his, he chose her over me and they live together! Cisco lives with her!” She cried. “Are you sure of this? Are you sure you weren’t drunk or something?” Mr. Kings asked.
“I was not drunk and your son told me to piss off ’cause he has no feelings for me! This is driving me insane,” she muttered roughing her hair.
“Don’t worry, Cisco is yours and no one else,” he assured her. “I don’t want that coming from you, I want it to come from Cisco himself!” She retorted.
“Allison calms down,” he urged her. “I can’t calm down not when I know I can lose the guy I love!” She snapped.
“Talk to Cisco,” she said and left the house. “What has gotten into that boy?” Mr. King wondered as he stared at nothing.

“Make sure you deliver these files to the respective department and you should get a new face for our company,” Cisco ordered his secretary as he signed the document she gave him.
“You can leave when I’m done with my schedule, I believe I don’t have much work today,” he said and closed the document before handing it over to her.
“What’s up with the smile?” Cisco inquired as he fired up his laptop. “You are different sir and I like it,” April said.
“Different? What do you mean?” Cisco inquired. “You smile often and you no longer overwork yourself,” she stated and Cisco smiled.
“You like it when I’m like this?” Cisco asked and she nodded. “I guess I have something I have always longed to have,” he said and she nodded in agreement.
“It is obvious you do,” she agreed, he wanted to reply to her but his phone rang so he gestured for her to leave.
“Dad,” Cisco called as soon as he picked up. “Where are you?” Mr. Kings asked.
“In my office,” he replied. “Are you with that whore?” He asked and Cisco frowned. “What whore are you talking about?” He questioned back.
“The whore you call a friend who lives in your house,” Mr. Kings replied. “I guess you spoke to Allison,” he said getting out of his chair.
“Yes and she told him how you have been messing around,” Mr. Kings said. “I don’t care what Allison told you and I believe I don’t owe you guys an explanation, kindly let me be dad,” he replied calmly trying not to sound rude.
“You owe Allison an explanation because she is your fiancee,” Mr. Kings stated. “I never love Allison and I won’t, stop trying to force her on me because I am not sure if I will keep up with this,” Cisco replied.
“Take back your words Cisco and apologize to Allison!” Mr. Kings ordered. “Why should I apologize dad?” He inquired, he bit his lips to prevent him from crossing a line. “I don’t remember doing something wrong so I am not going to apologize,” he retorted.
“Francisco!” Mr. King’s yelled but Cisco cut the call.
