“Hey, are you there?” Vin asked after he got no response from her, Thea cleared her throat and replied to him. “Yes… I am here,” she stammered.

“Are you okay?” He inquired out of concern. “Me? Of course, I am, why won’t I be okay? I am perfectly fine,” she replied.

“I’m glad you are fine,” he stated. “What’s up?” She asked. “I missed you,” he blurted.

“You missed me? You called because you missed me?” She asked. “Yes, isn’t that enough reason to call?” He asked.

“It is, I was just startled,” she replied walking towards the couch, she fell on it and took her time to admire the ceiling.

“Don’t be,” he said and she hummed. “Are you free this Thursday?” He asked praying deep down she would say yes.

“Why?” She questioned back. “Nothing, I miss you and I have a party to attend, I am allowed to come with plus one so I want to go with you,” he answered.

“Parties are held in the evening right?” She asked. “Yes, so…., are you free?” He asked.

“Yes…, I am. I am free, I’ll come with you,” she answered. “It is a date,” he blurted.

“A date?” Thea repeated. “Yes, don’t you want to go on a date with me?” He asked and there was silence on the other end. “A friendly date,” he added.

“Sure, I’ll see you then,” she said and sat up. “See you on Thursday,” he reminded her and she nodded as if he could see her, she cut the call and let out a sigh.

She took off her shoe and place her leg on the couch, she hugged it to herself as she was void of emotion.

She had no idea of what to feel, she was going on a date with the guy who saved her life and she happens to have a crush on him.

But instead of excitement, she felt nothing. “Is Cisco still toying with my head?” She wondered out loud, she wore her shoe and went downstairs.

Cisco was sited on the couch with a phone in his hand, he was browsing for something. Thea wondered what got his full attention, he tiptoes behind him and took a peek.

‘He is shopping for ladies’ wear, who is it for?’ Thea wondered. ‘It can’t be for Allison her presence disgusts him, who is he getting it for? Not for his mom, she is too old for this. Why are you shopping for ladies’ dress Cisco?!’ She screamed in her head.

“What do you think?” He asked and she flinched, he turned to look at her scared face and he chuckled. “You knew I was behind you?” She asked walking around the couch to sit beside him.

“Yeah, I perceived your cologne and heard your silent footsteps,” he explained and she mouthed an oh. “Come here,” he pulled her closer and showed her a perfect view of the dress.

“Pick any dress of your choice?” He said and she felt her heart race. “Any dress?” She asked.

“Yes,” he answered. “I don’t like dull nor flashy things, this should be perfect,” he picked a cream short backless gown.

“I never said it was for you but this isn’t bad either,” he said and she boiled in anger, she bit her lower lip and held the couch to suppress her anger.

“Let’s pick bag and shoe too,” he said and went to the show collection. “Pick a shoe that will match the gown,” he said showing her his phone.

“Take it away,” she said pushing his hand slightly. “You don’t want to see it, should we pick a purse then?” He asked.

“I suddenly feel sleepy, I don’t want to pick a purse or a shoe and forget my compliment about the dress it looks ugly,” Thea said and went to her room.

“Did I do something wrong?” He wondered as he watched her walk angrily, he stared at her until she was out of view. He roughed his hair and continued shopping.

“What does he take me for? An idiot? He wants me to choose a pretty dress for his girlfriend? Geez! I should have gotten rid of that phone,” she muttered and sat on the chair in front of the dressing mirror.

“Wait? Why am I getting worked up? Why do I feel jealous? I can’t be can I? Snap out of it Thea,” she scolded herself.

“I should get some sleep,” she advised herself and walked to the bed, she collapse on it and closed her eyes immediately.

Mavis strolled down the road to her house with her arm wrapped around herself. She was hungry but had no money with her, she rubbed her tummy as it made crazy noise.

“Keep it down, I need you to endure until I get home,” She whispered to her tummy.

She noticed two figures behind her and turned to look but found no one. “Was I hallucinating? Is it an effect of the hunger?” She wondered still observing the lonely road.

“I should hurry home if that is the case,” she concluded and hasten her step, two guys walked out of the dark and followed her.

She didn’t notice them so she just walked with her arms still wrapped around herself, the guys behind her signaled to each other and one of them went made a left turn, while the other followed her.

“Be careful sir,” Mavis helped the old man who stumbled and almost fell. “Thank you,” he appreciated and Mavis smiled, she stood straight and noticed the guy who was watching her but looked away immediately she turned in his direction.

“Am I being followed?” She muttered and turned to walk away immediately, she hasten her steps and the guy hasten his.

“Excuse me, sir,” she tapped a guy who was sited on a bench. “Yes,” he answered. “I think I am being followed,” she said and pointed at the guy behind her who pretend to be fixing his shoelace.

“You think?” The guy asked. “Yes he has been behind me for a while now,” she said and the second guy smiled.

“What makes you think I will help?” The guy asked. “Pardon,” she gulped nothing as fear engulfed her.

“I am just a random guy and you are one juicy lady, why should I not have a taste of you too?” He asked and she scratched the back of her head nervously

“Please excuse me, forget we met,” she said about to walk away only to be held by the other guy. “Too bad such a pretty face can’t be forgotten easily,” the first guy said.

“We should take her to a safe place, we would not want everyone to hear her moan our names,” the second guy suggested.

“Please let me go, I am bitter down there,” she tried to sound convincing. “Every girl is sweet down there,” the second guy replied rubbing her cheek.

She shivered in fear and wish she had invisibility power, it would be cool if she could disappear but she was powerless at the moment.

She can’t even run let alone disappear, if only she had not skipped lunch she would have the energy to run but how can she outrun two hefty guys on an empty stomach.

“Angel let’s go,” the first guy said and spanked her @ss. “Take a step and don’t get to use your dîck again,” a voice said coming from the dark.

“Who are you?” The second guy asked turning to face the direction the voice came from. “I don’t like minding other’s business but I can’t help it when an innocent girl is in danger either,” the voice said.

“Innocent? She is not innocent, she intentionally seduced us with her huge @ss,” the second guy said and spanked Mavis @ss, she whimpered as tears form in her eyes.

“Go to the bar if you want to fûçk,” The voice advised. “Why would we go there when we can fúçk her for free?” The first guy asked.

“We will let you have her once we are done, we are going to be quick,” The second guy said and fondle Mavis’s breast.

“Stop,” she cried as tears finally escaped her eyes, she felt disgusted by their touch and wished the man in the dark would stop them and end the useless conversation he is having because it was not helping her.

“Do you mean to say, don’t stop,” the first guy teased and they laughed. “Walk away while I am asking nicely,” The voice said.

“What if we don’t?” The first guy asked. “You are just a coward who hides in the dark, come here if you really want to save her,” the second guy said.

The person walked out of the dark and even in that state Mavis could tell he was a demi-god, he was wearing a purple shirt with a black suit on it.

“You look like you can’t handle a first, I think you should be the first one to walk away,” the second guy said.

“I guess you are right, looking closely I can’t beat you. You can have the girl,” HE surrendered.
