“What are you insinuating?” Greg inquired with a harsh glare at Cisco. “Nothing,” Cisco replied simply.
“Nothing? Do you take me for a fool now? You were definitely trying to say something,” he snapped.
“Like what, brother?” Cisco asked. “Don’t fight, you guys promised not to,” Flora’s tiny voice came between and Cisco smiled.
“You should work on your anger, you wouldn’t want your daughter seeing another side of you,” He advised with a harmless smirk but Greg got angry and stepped out of the car.
“What side are you talking about?” Greg asked advancing towards go while he moved back. “This side, this side of yours is horrible you know,” He replied.
“And I show it to horrible people alone, people like you who pretend to be a saint,” Greg spat. “Seriously now? Do you think I pretend to be a saint? First I don’t want to be a saint so pretending is of no use to me, I think that word is meant or should be meant for you,” he retorted.
Greg glared at him as hard as he could, he smirk and ran his hand through his hair. “You are used to it, aren’t you?” Greg asked and scoffed.
“Use to what?” He inquired. “Lie, you lie easily now. Do you remember back then? You couldn’t even lie without feeling nervous, you hated it ’cause it makes you lose confidence in yourself. But….., take a look at yourself, you lie so easily now, I guess it’s your life,” Greg declared.
“I don’t lie nor am I used to it,” he replied angrily but he was trying not to make it obvious because of the kid.
“You lie to yourself every day, you look at that disgusting face of yours in the mirror and tell yourself you are not a murderer, isn’t it?” Greg asked and Cisco clutch his fist.
“I am not a murderer!” Cisco growled. “You guys should stop it! You are brothers!” Flora snapped but Cisco still glared at Greg who was smirking victoriously.
“How come you have full insomnia if you are not…” Greg paused and glanced at Flora as much as he would love to make him a mess in front of her, he needs to consider Flora too. “A Murderer,” Greg mouthed to Cisco.
“What is insomnia?” Flora asked. “An illness,” Greg replied.
“Uncle Cisco is sick? Is that why you couldn’t come to my party?” Flora asked with sincere concern for Cisco. “People like him, don’t deserve pity sweetie,” Greg said and hold her hand.
“But Daddy,” she tried to protest but he shot her a hard glare so she had to keep whatever she wanted to say to herself.
“When next you want to make me look bad give it a quick thought, ’cause I can spill your secrets along the way,” he said, and Cisco smile
“What? You think in joking?” Greg asked with an annoyed expression. “No, I am hoping you will and I pray you to tell me, why we became like this,” Cisco replied and his smile became broad.
“Flora is getting late for school, you should drop her off,” Cisco suggested and stepped back. “Thanks for the caring princess, I apologize again for missing your special night,” Cisco apologized and she smiled.
“I’m glad you are fine, uncle,” she replied and Cisco blew her a kiss. Cisco stood on the same spot and watched Greg drive away, he didn’t glance at Cisco as he drove out of the way.
“I did nothing wrong Greg,” Cisco spoke to himself and went back inside. He bumped into Fiona on his way upstairs.
“How is she?” He asked. “She is trying to get some sleep,” she answered.
“I wonder what’s holding Malcolm up,” Cisco mumbled and dismissed Fiona. “You can leave,”
She bowed and walked away, he headed back inside and met Thea moving uncomfortably on the bed, she was trying to find a suitable position for her to fall asleep easily.
Cisco walked to the table lamp and took his phone, he dialed Malcolm’s number and he picked up on the first ring.
“I am five minutes away from your house,” Malcolm said before Cisco could say a word not even a hello.
“I am going to kill you if you are not here in the next five minutes,” Cisco threatened. “I will,” He replied and hung up.
He dropped the phone and sat on the bed, he stroked Thea’s hair gently with a sad smile. “Sorry,” he muttered absentmindedly.
“Why do you apologize?” Thea managed to ask and he gasp realizing he had just said something. “Hey,” someone said as the door opened and Cisco breathed out in relief, he was nervous he won’t have an answer to her question.
He didn’t remember apologizing, and he must have said it out of guilt but why does he feel guilty? Is Greg right that he has been living under the shadow of the truth.
“You look like you plan on fulfilling your promise of ending me,” Dr. Malcolm joked as he walked to the other side of the bed.
“You are not guilty,” Cisco replied and diverted his gaze to Thea. “You look much better than the last time I came here,” Malcolm commented with a proud smile.
“You were here?” Thea asked with a confused expression. “Yes, you thought you were nursed to life by this sleepless guy?” He joked and checked her temperature which dropped rapidly.
“Your temperature is good,” Malcolm said and smiled in satisfaction. “He stayed awake too, he practical nursed me to life,” Thea replied and Cisco unknowingly smiled.
“I’m jealous, I did most of the work,” Malcolm stated. “Thanks but I could have died before your arrival,” she stated, and Malcolm chuckled.
‘I guess the feeling is mutual after all,’ Malcolm thought. “What do you feel?” Malcolm asked. “Weak and sleepy,” she answered.
“You should get some sleep, you will be fine when you wake up,” he assured her and she smiled. “Thanks,” she appreciated.
“Good job Cisco, she looks better than you sound,” Malcolm said packing up his stuff, he removed the drip from her hand and got rid of the needle and all.
“Are you sure she is fine?” Cisco asked and Malcolm nodded, he bent and pat Thea’s hair slowly and jealousy burnt through Cisco.
He felt annoyed but he couldn’t say why, he stared away not to create a because deep down, he felt like breaking Malcolm’s hand.
“I’ll walk you outside,” Cisco volunteered and Malcolm carried his little bag. “You should get enough rest,” he told Thea and left the room with Cisco.
“You should become a doctor now,” Malcolm joked. “Can I ask a question?” Cisco inquired.
“Sure,” Malcolm replied. “Why do I have insomnia?” Cisco asked.
While in the room Thea was trying to sleep when her phone rang, Fiona checked the caller for her and it happened to be Mavis.
“It’s Mavis,” Fiona informed her and she gestured to her to bring the phone closer. “What the heck happened between you and your rich boyfriend?!” Mavis screamed into her ear.
“I will appreciate it if you speak calmly Mavis,” Thea replied calmly. “Why is your voice like that? Are you sick?” Mavis asked.
“Yeah,” she replied. “Where are you? I’m gonna come to you,” Mavis said and Thea heard a sound of a rush as if she was trying to clear some things.
“You don’t have to, Cisco is taking care of me so I’ll be fine, you should not skip work because of me,” she said each word with much struggle.
“I forgot you live with a super-rich man of course he will take perfect care of you,” She muttered. “Thanks for the concern,” Thea appreciated.
“Your boyfriend dropped by earlier,” Mavis informed her. “My boyfriend? Are you referring to Vin?” Thea asked.
“Yes that is his name, he was worried about you and came to my apartment I had no idea how he knew where I live,” Mavis uttered.
“He picked me up in your place remember?” Thea asked. “Should I give him your address?” Mavis asked

Flora was playing with a doll in her grandparent’s house, she carried it in her arm and took a little feeding bottle, it was a toy too.
She fed it to the doll and wiped her mouth with the tiny handkerchief there, Octavia had somewhere to be so she decided to let her have fun with her Grandparents.
“Your mom should consider having a baby, you will make a perfect big sis,” Vin said dropping a glass of milk on the table close to Flora.
“That is right,” Mrs. Kings agreed.
“Uncle …. Grandma,” she called and they gave her their full attention. “What is insomnia?” She asked and Vin glanced at his equally confused mother.
“Where did you hear that sweetie?” Mrs. Kings asked. “Is it an illness?” She asked.
“Yes,” Vin replied. “Daddy said Uncle Cisco has full insomnia,” She blurted.
