Allison tried to walk closer but Thea moved back, Allison chuckled. “Why do you act like a thief caught in the act?” Allison asked mockingly.
“A thief?” Thea asked with a shocking expression. “Yes,” Allison replied and walked closer, she tried to move Thea’s hair but someone grabbed her hand.
Allison’s eyes turned red instantly and her expression changed from mock to anger, who dared to hold her hand.
She turned to find Fiona smiling at her, she yanked her hand off instantly and Thea smiled. “You disgusting maid! How dare you touch me?!” She growled.
“I am sorry, I had no idea you will pick an offense in my actions I was only looking out for you,” Fiona explain.
“Looking out for me? Who are you to look out for me?” She queried. “You see…, Ma’am Thea fell sick recently and she is just getting better, those spots you saw on her neck are not hickey but infection,” Fiona blurted.
“What?!” Thea and Allison exclaimed in horror. “If you touch her, there is a possibility of getting infected,” Fiona added.
“Gross! I never knew she was dying soon,” Allison muttered with her face squeezed in disgust, Thea glared at her but quickly diverted get gaze to Fiona who looked so innocent and you wouldn’t believe she is capable of lying.
Thea gave her a look that says ‘I’m coming back to you. She turned to Allison who stared at her disgustingly.
“Dying? Oh, mine! Look at the pot calling the kettle black, you are as thin as a bamboo tree so there is a possibility you will die first,” Thea replied
“Hey! Don’t speak rudely to me!” Allison snapped. “If you hate being paid in your coin then don’t buy with that coin,” Thea replied and folded her hands under her breast.
“How can Cisco live with a walking corpse?” Allison asked no one as she fan herself with her hand.
“Who are you calling a walking corpse?” Thea asked moving towards her, Allison shifted back in fear of getting infected.
“Don’t you dare take a step closer or I’m going to yell!” Allison threatened. “I dare you,” Thea retorted in a hoarse voice increasing Allison’s fear.
“Is that part of the symptoms?” Allison asked Fiona who didn’t hesitate in nodding her head positively. “Geez! I better get out of here,” Allison panicked and before Thea and Fiona could tell what was going on, she was out of the mansion.
The next thing they heard was the sound of the closing door, Thea breathed out in relief and turned around to see Fiona staring at her.
Fiona diverted her gaze to the ceiling and came up with the lamest lie in history. “I have to cook the water and boil my clothes,” with that being said she turned to leave but Thea pulled her back
“Nah, not so fast,” Thea shook her index finger in disapproval. “Ma’am you are holding me,” she said with an awkward smile.
“Yes, are you scared of getting infected too?” Thea asked. “No…” She trailed off.
“Why did you tell Allison such a lie?” Thea inquired. “If she got to touch you she will discover that those are hickeys, you are not in the best position to fight so I decided to come up with that,” she replied.
“You have such a wonderful but stupid brain!” Thea yelled and Fiona lose her grip on her clothes, she ran towards the kitchen and Thea wanted to go after her but she was too weak to run so she stopped.
“My tummy!” She screamed and Fiona ran back to the living room, she held her and escort her to the dining table.
“You should eat so that you will have enough strength to scold me,” Fiona said and dished her food.
“Oh, mine! I miss these babies!” Thea giggled as she devour the meal, Fiona watched with a smile she was glad she is better.
Soon Thea was done and Fiona helped her with her drugs, she is currently sitting on the couch watching an American movie.
Fiona was also sited on the couch but at a far distance not because she was scared but because she wanted to respect her.
She was not supposed to be sited with her but Thea is the stubborn type. “Ma’am,” Fiona called and Thea turned to look at her.
“Aren’t you going to study?” Fiona asked and Cisco opened the door just in time, it was still some minutes to four so no one was expecting him to be home by that time of the day.
Fiona wanted to greet him but he gestured to her not to. “Nope,” Thea replied, she could not see Cisco since she was sitting in a position backing Cisco.
“Why ma’am?” Fiona inquired, Cisco gestured for her to keep the conversation going. “I keep hearing voices in my head,” she replied.
She rubbed her temple and sighed. “I can’t concentrate unless I get rid of that voice,” she added.
“What voice?” Fiona asked but Cisco already understood what she meant, he leaned closer and whisper into her ears. “This voice?” He asked.
“Oh, mine! I’m going to go crazy at this rate!” She mumbled and facepalm herself. “Thea,” Cisco called and she raised her hand to clean her ears only to touch his face.
“What the heck!” She flinched and fell on her butt. “Ma’am, are you okay?” Fiona panicked and rushed to her side.
“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to startle you,” Cisco apologized and rushed to her side too. “Why will you do that? What if I got a heart attack and died?” She asked still sitting on the floor.
“We would have buried you,” Fiona replied and Thea pulled her hair. “Ma’am!” She shrieked and Cisco helped her in getting rid of Thea’s hand.
“Why will you bury me?” Thea asked as Cisco held her to himself. “Isn’t that what they do to dead people?” Fiona asked and the door opened.
No one noticed since Thea’s voice was louder than anything in the room for a moment. “You are unbelievable! You will be the first to die here, let go of me!!”
“You look much better because it will take much energy to kill someone,” Dr. Malcom uttered and Thea chuckled nervously.
“Good morning doctor Malcolm,” Thea greeted and started arranging her messy hair.
“Good morning sir,” Fiona greeted. “What brings you here?” Cisco questioned and sat on the couch.
Dr. Malcolm sat on the nearest couch to him too. “I came to see how she’s fairing but with the look of things, she is all better,” he replied.
“You are right,” Cisco agreed and Thea smiled, Fiona walked towards Malcolm with an orange juice.
“Thanks,” he appreciated and took the glass cup from her. After a while, Cisco walked Malcolm out of the mansion.
“Any development?” Malcolm asked as they strolled to his car. “Thea is better, you saw it for yourself,” he replied with a smile.
“I’m not talking about Thea, the question is for you,” he said and Cisco raised a brow at him. “Your insomnia,” he added.
“I sleep with the help of Thea,” he replied with a blush. “Have you tried sleeping without her voice? You could be cured,” he stated.
“Should I?” Cisco asked and Malcolm nodded. “And your question,” Malcolm said and Cisco gave him a look that asks ‘what question?’
“About your illness, did you have nightmares before you developed insomnia?” He asked. “Nightmares? Yes,” he answered.
“Do you remember what they are about?” Malcolm asked. “It was about Greg accusing me of Chloe’s death and my memories with Chloe,” he explained.
“You developed insomnia because of your fears,” Dr. Malcolm said. “Fears?” Cisco repeated a question.
“Yes, you knew staying awake will stop you from seeing those hurtful things so your brain decided to stay awake,” he said, and Cisco sighed.
“I caused it?” Cisco asked. “Partially, someone must have instilled fear in you by the constant reminder of the incident, that is what caused it,” he replied.
“How do I get cured, permanently?” Cisco asked. “Replace your fears with love, recreate your memories. Replace the girl you lost and you will stop blaming yourself for her death,” he advised.
“I should fall in love with someone?” Cisco asked. “Yea and I think Thea is the best candidate,” he blurted.
Cisco could not stop staring at Thea’s lip throughout dinner, her lips were so soft and he loved how they tasted.
He remembered Malcolm’s words, he need to replace Chlor for him to be healed and the best candidate is Thea.
“Don’t you like it?” Thea asked and he snapped out of his thoughts.
“What?” He inquired in confusion. “Don’t you like the food? You haven’t taken a proper bite since you sat there,” she stated.
“It’s delicious,” he mumbles and shoves a spoon full of rice into his mouth. “Thea,” he called after he had swallowed everything
“Humm,” she hummed since she was drinking water.
“Will you take another job?” Cisco asked and she pouted her mouth.
