“That will be all for today,” Cisco said after a lady gave her presentation, the staff stood up picked up their files, and left the board room.

“April,” Cisco called and his secretary rushed to him. “What is my next schedule?” He inquired

“You are free until the next one hour,” she replied and he stood up, it has been a week since he confessed his love to Thea and Vin has found out about their relationship.

“You can leave,” he said and picked a file, she knew he won’t be leaving the board room and cleared her throat.

“Is something wrong?” He asked not facing her. “There is a guest in your office,” she reported.

“A guest?” He asked now facing her. “Yes, she has been waiting for a while now,” she responded.

“She?” He mumbled and stood up, he took the files with him and left the board room while April trailed behind him.

He opened the door and met Allison sites on the sofa, he frowned and walked towards the swivel chair.

“Aren’t you going to say hi to the girl you have not seen in a while?” Allison asked.

“I am too busy to do that but not too busy to ask this, what are you doing here?” He asked sited on the chair.

“You have become more arrogant,” she mumbled. “Thanks,” he replied.

“It was not a compliment,” she stated. “You still haven’t told me what brings you here, I am too busy to chit-chat with you,” he said with a straight expression.

“I have something that will sweep you off your feet,” she said. “We are breaking up? Wait, I was never in a relationship with you, it must be you who is breaking up with me,” he said

“That’s not happening!” She snapped. “I guess not now,” he mumbled.

“Here,” she dropped an envelope on the table and he picked it up, he saw pictures of Thea’s mom and dad when they were healthy with her.

And another picture of their present condition, he dropped it on the table and gave her a look that asks, ‘SO?’

“Are you sure you want to end up with the gold digger?” She asked.

“How is she a gold digger?” He asked. “She wants your money so that she can take care of her pathetic family,” she replied.

“Her family is not pathetic, she has a family unlike someone I know,” he replied referring to her.

“I don’t leach off people,” she retorted. “She is not a leach!” He spat standing up.

“How long are you going to defend that bitch?! Why are you turning a blind eye to the truth, all she is going to do is feed off you, unlike me,” she paused and stood up.

She stood behind him and roam her hand around his body, he felt disgusted by it but he didn’t budge.

“I am not a leach, I will help you grow not to shrink,” she said and leaned closer, she peck his earlobe and whispered. “I love you, Francisco.”

“How many guys have you bought with your body?” He asked and she stood straight. “Sorry to break it to you but I’m not interested in you, bitçh,” he yanked her hand off and she lost balance.

She fell to the floor with widened eyes. “Did you just push me?” She asked with her eyes widened in horror.

“I didn’t,” he replied and turn the chair to face her. “I love that girl, I will not appreciate you calling her names,” he stated and the aura around him was cold and dangerous.

She has never seen him like that and it scared her, but she was not going to show him how weak she is.

“I don’t care! We are meant to be together, you will love me I know that you will,” she spat and got up, she charged towards the door furiously.

She opened the door and turn to face him with so much anger, that he only looked and his face was void of emotion.

She left his office furiously and April rushed in wondering what was wrong. “Mr. King?” She called.

He simply stood up and walked to the window with his hand pocketed, she closed the door understanding that he wants to be alone.

“You are not going to school again?” Mrs. Kings asked as she stood by the door to Vin’s room, he has been locking himself indoors for a week.

He eats in his room, he has not stepped out of his room and his mom hears him whimpering at night.

“How long are you going to keep this up?” Mrs. Kings asked as she charged towards the window, she opened it and turned on the air purifier.

“It’s a miracle you are alive, your room smells like a stable,” Mrs. Kings started rubbing her nose.

“That’s good,” he replied and sat up. “You should leave if it really does,” Vin added.

“You have lost your manners,” Mrs. Kings muttered and slapped his head.

“I am your mother! You are not allowed to speak to me in that manner!” She snapped and he rubbed his head silently.

“Get out of that bed and clean this room, change the sheet and take a bath, wear something nice and come out for lunch,” Mrs. King ordered and turned to leave the room.

“If it isn’t done within an hour, I will take a picture of you and ask Allison for a favor,” she uttered sarcastically and left.

“Why does my life need to be the worst?!” He asked no one as he stared at his messy room.

He got out of bed and walked towards the bathroom, he brushed his teeth and cleaned his face.

He started cleaning his room slowly, he was done within forty minutes.

He sat on the bed and his mind drifted to Thea, he wiped his face as tears threatened to fall.

‘Why are you crying when you chose to let her go?’ His subconscious asked.

“What was I supposed to do? She loved him,” he replied.

“Now I know what the problem is,” Mrs. Kings said from the door, Vin turned his face away as tears fell uncontrollably from his eyes.

The pain was greater than anything and he wished he would cease to exist.

“She broke your heart,” she said and sat beside him, she placed her hand on his shoulder and tap him gently.

“It hurts mom, I gave up first but it’s still hurt,” he cried.

“Let it all out, you are in pain and I understand,” she consoled.

“She is in love with someone else, I couldn’t hurt her by confessing my happiness. Was I wrong for putting her first?” He asked and Mrs. Kings turn him to face her.

“You are not, you made the right decision for the sake of you both,” she replied.

“It feels wrong mom, I should fight for my love but I gave up like a coward. I am pathetic, I don’t deserve her,” he wailed and Mrs. Kings hugged him.

“My boy,” she muttered and pat his back gently while he cried on her shoulder.

“It is going to be fine,” she assured and he cried more. Mrs. Kings took him to the dining table when he was calmed.

She forced him to eat a reasonable amount of food since he has not been eating well, she tried chatting with him but he was not in the mood.

“Do you want to talk about her?” She asked and he shook his head negatively.

“Should I invite Flora?” She asked. “No,” he replied.

“Wanna see a movie or play a game?” Mrs. Kings asked.

“I’ll go to Cisco’s place,” he replied. “But he won’t be at home,” Mrs. Kings muttered.

“I just want to go there,” he replied.

Thea was studying in her room quietly when she heard noises downstairs, she wanted to ignore them but the noise was louder so she was forced to get out of bed.

She opened the door and met Allison struggling to get upstairs while Fiona stopped her.

“You really can’t see her,” Fiona said. “I don’t care if she is in the land of the dead, I want to see her!” Allison fired.

Thea crossed her arms and click her tongue. “No wonder he chooses me, who would want to be with a woman like you?” Thea asked and both Allison and Fiona turned to face her.

“Bitch!” Alison yell and rushed towards Thea, Allison pulled her hair and Thea struggled to release herself from her grip.

“Let go of me,” she demands. “It is your fault! Everything is your fault!” Allison yell.

Fiona rushed upstairs and tried to release Allison’s hand from Thea’s hair but Allison pushed her instead.

“Just die!” Allison yell and pushed Thea down the stairs.

“Ahhhh!!” Thea yell as she rolled down the stairs, she fell with a loud thud.

“Ma’am Thea!” Fiona yell. “I just killed someone,” Allison muttered fearfully.
