What is he talking about? What same mistake? He isn’t going to do what she is thinking, will he?
Cisco moved closer to her and she shifted back. “W-what are you doing?” She stuttered shortly as he walked closer
“Walking, aren’t I allowed to do that?” He questioned and her heart raced as if it was going to explode.
‘Why is he walking towards me?!’ She freaked inwardly. “Why do you look scared?” He inquired mockingly.
“Cisco, we can talk about it calmly,” she uttered nervously. “It would be nice to push you off this building, but it would be much fun to let Thea decide,” he said and stopped walking.
“You are not going to push me?” She asked anxiously. “No, you should go home. I will call you once Thea is awake, don’t you dare run away!” He growled.
“You don’t have to worry! I won’t,” she replied and Cisco nodded. “Good,” he muttered and walked away.
“I can’t believe I was almost killed by him,” she muttered.
But, why does he want her to meet with Thea? Thea will never forgive her, what if she orders her execution?
Everything was confusing, Allison looked like she was coming back from the realm of the dead as she walked out of the hospital.
Cisco on the other hand was just heading back to the ward too, his mom rushed to him and held his hand.
“Where is Allison?” Mrs. Kings asked. “I don’t know,” he replied.
“Did you kill her?” Mrs. Kings asked in a whisper. “That would be fun, but it is too easy,” he replied and walked past her.
He met Vin standing by the door with his arms folded on his chest, he looked worried. Cisco held the doorknob and Vin held his hand.
“Are you going in?” Vin asked. “Yes,” he replied.
“Can I come?” Vin asked slowly, Cisco wanted to say no but his brother looked so worried and lonely.
“Sure,” he replied and they went in together, Fiona and Mrs. Kings sat on the waiting bench again since they were aware of the fact that it can’t be too crowded in there.
Cisco stood by the window while Vin stood close to the bed, Vin noticed the bruise on her head and arm.
“They said she is going to be fine, right?” Vin asked. “Yes,” Cisco replied.
“I’m sorry,” Vin apologized. “Why do you apologize?” Cisco inquired confused.
“If I was there earlier, I would have been able to prevent the fight,” he uttered. “Don’t say that, I am at fault too for not studying Allison before she left.
“You saw Allison before the fight?” Vin asked. “Yes, she came to my company. She tried to seduce me, but I pushed her away and she left with a hateful glare,” he explained.
“She is unpredictable,” Vin muttered and there were a few seconds of silence. “What did you do with her anyway?” Vin asked.
“Nothing, Thea will decide once she is awake,” Cisco replied. “She is strong,” he uttered.
“I’m sorry,” Cisco apologized. “For what?” Vin inquired.
“Having insomnia and needing Thea, if I wasn’t sick I would not need her and I wouldn’t fall in love with her,” he responded
“Are you saying you regret loving her?” Vin asked as his eyes slowly turned red and his fist tighten.
“No, I regret hurting you, I will never regret loving her,” he stated with a smile, he walked closer to the bed and stroked her gently.
“How I wish she didn’t have to go through all this, but Allison is going to pay so it’s good,” he smiled and Vin’s heart ached as he watched her touch her hair.
Vin took his mom and Fiona home after a few hours, Mr. Kings left hours ago.
Vin fell on the couch while Mrs. King went into the room, Mr. King walked out of the kitchen with two cups of coffee.
“Vin,” he called and offered him a cup of coffee, Vin stared at him weirdly as he reluctantly collect the cup of coffee.
“Does it taste good?” Mr. Kings asked and sat on the couch next to him.
“Good,” he replied still suspicious of his father, he is not the type to make his coffee let alone make it for someone else.
“It has been a while since I made coffee, I’m glad I’m still good,” he said and Vin only sipped from the coffee not saying a word.
“What is it you want dad?” Vin asked. “You are quick-witted, I believe…” Vin interrupted whatever it was he was going to say.
“Get to the point dad, what do you want?”
“The girl in the hospital, who is she?” Mr. Kings asked and Vin scoffed. “I knew it,” Vin uttered.
“Knew what?” Mr. Kings asked. “Making coffee is not your thing,” he replied and dropped the cup of coffee on the table.
“Her name is Thea, she lives with Cisco and…” Vin trailed off, what he was about to say was a bit hard for him.
“And….” Mr. Kings urged him to go on. “They are couples,” he responded and looked away.
“That is the girl Allison met in his house,” Mr. King said as he remembered how angry Allison was.
“Yeah, what are you going to do about it now that you know?” Vin asked and he sipped from the coffee.
“Are you going to buy her? Make her break up with Cisco or make her disappear just like you did years ago,” Vin blurted.
“Keep it down Vin! I won’t do any of that,” he replied. “It’s better you don’t,” Vin stated and went to his room.
“What is wrong with that brat? Why is he suddenly ranting?” Mr. King muttered.
**********
Cisco watched over Thea the whole night, he was worried because she showed no sign of life, the only evidence that she was alive was her heartbeat.
Cisco stood up and walked to the window, he stared at the sun and exhale, things were getting complicated in his life and he hated it.
He turned around and Thea was awake, he rushed to the bed and held her hand.
“Thea,” he called joyfully. “Where am I?” She asked as she stared at the room strangely.
“You are in the hospital,” he replied. “Hospital?” she asked to be sure she heard him well.
“Yes, you fell down the stairs,” he responded, she closed her eyes and inhale.
“Can I get a glass of water?” She requested. “I should get the doctor first,” he replied and stood up.
Thea sat up after he left the room, she felt uneasy and wanted to get out of bed but she was too weak to do that.
She was about to get out of bed when the door opened and Cisco walked in with the doctor.
“Miss. Kings, you should not try to get out of bed just yet,” the doctor warned as he walked further into the room.
“It’s Robert, not kings,” Thea corrected. “It is the same thing since you guys are getting married soon,” The doctor replied with a chuckle.
Thea glared at Cisco who turned to the doctor. “She is my girlfriend,” Cisco corrected.
“Yeah, she turned down your proposal,” he said more like a mock. “That…. Wasn’t me,” Thea responded.
“Yeah, that was someone else,” Cisco supported.
“My apologies,” the doctor apologized and no one uttered a word again.
“You are much better, you should be on your way home by evening,” the doctor said and Cisco appreciated it.
“Can I eat?” Thea inquired. “Yes,” the doctor replied and she giggled on the bed.
“Call Fiona, tell her to bring delicious foods. I feel like I have not eaten for a century,” she said with a frown.
“She is on her way,” he replied. “You are the best,” she giggled and he found her amusing.
How could she be carefree when she almost lost her life a few hours ago, and here she is acting freely.
“Cisco, where is my phone?” She asked. “Your phone?” He questioned back and she nodded.
“I guess it’s at home,” he replied. “Tell Fiona to bring it along, it must be in my room,” she said and he picked up his phone.
Minutes later Fiona walked in and Thea sit up, the food was placed in front of her and she started devouring it.
“You are much better ma’am Thea,” Fiona said and she blushed. “You should eat slowly or you will get indigestion,” he advised.
“I won’t get indigestion if you keep your mouth shut,” she replied and he chuckled.
“My phone?” Thea directed her question to Fiona. “Here,” she answered and gave her the phone.
“Why are there so many missed calls?” Thea wondered and just as she was about to call Mavis back her phone rang and she choked.
“Hello,” she said as she picked up and Fiona dropped the glass of water. There was total silence until she dropped the phone and tears fell from her eyes.
