Thea raised a questioning brow at Allison as she glared at her phone, she even cursed in front of her son, isn’t that wrong?
“Ally,” Thea called to get her attention and it worked, Allison raised her head at her, and Thea gestured at Sol who was staring deeply at Allison.
“Oh, I am sorry I meant beach yeah where water is and lots of sand with people,” she described the beach as she walked closer, she sat beside Thea and pulled Sol closer.
“Where you build sand Castle, you remember don’t you Sol?” Allison asked and the boy nodded
“Wanna go and play? I and your new nanny have something to talk about,” Allison said and he ran out of the living room.
“Do we have something to talk about?” Thea asked giving her a suspicious stare.
“Yeah,” Allison replied sharply and pulled Thea closer, she showed her the picture sent to her omitting the message.
Thea eyes filled with tears immediately she saw it, she forced a smile though and turned to Allison.
“How did you get this?” Thea inquired with a forced smile. “Anonymous,” she replied.
“He looks happy, that matters,” Thea smiled and stared away, she wanted to glance at the picture one more time but she was scared of tearing up.
But her heart could not take it either she badly wanted to look at that picture one more time, she satisfied her heart and turned her head only to read the message sent by Mr. King.
“I will get you a glass of juice and a snack,” with that Allison wanted to stand up but Thea stopped her.
“What’s wrong?” Inquired confused Allison, Thea reached for her phone which luckily for her was still open.
She tapped on the message and read the previous chats, she gasped and Allison snatched the phone from her.
“Allison,” a gap left Thea’s lips as her eyes widened in horror and pity, she was being threatened yet trying her best to stay away.
How could she be strong? Thea wondered as she stare at her.
“How long are you going to avoid his message? How long do you think it will take before he gives up?” Thea asked.
“I don’t know but I am ready to fight, I don’t want to ruin another’s life since mine is burned,” she chuckled sadly. “I will stay away from Francisco, Mr. King is free to do whatever he wants,” she uttered with determination.
“What if he hurt Sol?” Thea asked and Allison shook her head vigorously. “He won’t do that, he is nothing but a greedy old man and I know how to deal with pests like him,” Allison assured.
“Have you told him the truth?” Thea asked. “Yes, countless times,” she replied.
“I mean, real talk Allison,” she further and Allison couldn’t help but furrowed her brows. “Without argument, have a conversation with him as grown up,” Thea stated.
“He isn’t a gentleman, only gentlemen have grown-up conversations,” Allison replied and Thea shook her head.
“You have a lot to lose Ally, to keep yourself from getting burned you need to control the fire,” Thea spoke in parables.
“Should I kill him? That seems like the best thing to do, I will be free we will find out why that big head decided to do what he did,” Allison threw her head backward with a smile.
“That is not what I meant dummy, you will go to jail if you do that,” Thea said and her heart skipped a beat.
“You mean it? They will throw me behind bars? But what we are going to do isn’t a crime, we are just taking care of the devil in human clothing,” she flipped her hair backward furiously. “This country is annoying.”
“What you are going to do is a crime, and stop thinking like Allison,” Thea scolded. “Who should I think like then?” She questioned with a pout.
Thea was curious at how she got trapped in Mr. King’s clutches but not anymore, she acts like an idiot and that is the only qualification Mr. King required.
“Come on, you can win this battle, you just need to think more like a mother,” Thea replied.
“A mother? I don’t get you,” std furrowed her brows. “You have to protect Sol don’t you?” Thea asked and she nodded. “That is why you will think like his mother.”
Allison raised her hand in protest and shook her head, interrupting Thea.
“I am his mother.”
“How much of a dummy are you?” Thea wondered while Allison smiled.
“I never disputed the fact that you are his mother, now are you going to think like one or not?” Thea asked.
“I will, what should I do?” Allison inquired eagerly and Thea smiled.
“Now that’s what I am talking about,” she smiled.

Victor hummed happily as he walked into Mavis’s apartment, for some strange reason the door was not locked.
He was worried since he was coming from her office and he was told she took the day off.
He dashed into the house to meet Vin holding a used plate, a rush of adrenaline gushed through Victor’s body had felt like moving forward and hitting him until he drop dead.
“What are you doing here?” Mavis who was trying to reach Thea walked out of her room at the sound of Victor’s annoying voice.
“Good morning,” Vin greeted instead since he had no plans of arguing, it was early and he had a lot on his plate.
Speaking of the plate, he glanced at the dirty plate he was holding and left for the kitchen.
Victor scuffed unbelievably, Vin walked out on him. He roamed freely in his girlfriend’s apartment, maybe his ex but he still love her that is all that is supposed to matter.
“Why is he here?” Annoyed Victor questioned Mavis who rolled her eyes, why was he acting like a husband who caught his wife cheating?
“Hey, I am talking to you!” He uttered out loud when Mavis ignored him and went back to her room.
“Mavis Grey!” He called in his prime voice and Mavis stomp her feet on the ground angrily, why can’t he act maturely?
She is right in front of him for Pete’s sake, and with everything going on she needs less of his childish behavior.
“Shut your mouth or I will do it for you,” she threatened.
Victor smiled with an ungodly thought and moved closer with his mouth pouted, his lips glued together hoping for a kiss but he got a fist.
“What was that for?!” He inquired with his red lips. “For acting like a jerk, what makes you think I am gonna kiss that rotten mouth of yours?” She scoffed in disbelief
“My mouth is not rotten,” he protested. “Of course, a monkey never agrees that he is stupid,” she shook her head sideways.
“Are you referring to me as a monkey?” He asked and Mavis pouted innocently
“Did I say that?” She wondered. “I don’t recall,” she concluded.
“Is she kidding me?” Victor scoffed as he watched Mavis chat with someone, she smiled as she read the last message.
“Are you cheating on me?” He asked. “Cheating? How will I cheat on you?” She asked in confusion
“You don’t know what it means to cheat?” He gasped and she shook her head sideways.
“No, I do. What I don’t understand is how I will cheat on you, you are not my boyfriend the last time I checked,” she reminded.
“But I love you, that counts,” he argued. “Nope,” she replied and Vin knocked on the door.
“Has she replied?” He asked and Victor glanced at them back and forth oblivious to what was going on.
Who are they trying to reach? Is Vin going to elope with her? He won’t let them do that, he loves Mavis and she belongs to him.
“Yes, but she refused to tell,” Mavis replied, Vin, came to her apartment the previous night after he left the family dinner.
If anyone was going to have information on Thea he believed it would be Mavis, just like the saying to hide a big lie you have to spill a little truth.
Mavis said Thea told her about their breakup but she is clueless about her whereabouts, Vin persuaded her to keep trying until Thea agree to tell them.
“Thanks,” Vin muttered. “Hey, what is going on here?” Victor demanded as he poke Vin’s chest.
Vin turned around in rage.
“Your pathetic sister is to not blame for all this! If only she had remained in the land of the dead our lives won’t be miserable!” Vin snapped and walked out of the apartment.
Mavis wanted to go after him but it was best if she stayed away from the king, that was the only way to protect her best friend.
“Victor,” Mavis called as she turned to face him but she found him doing the least of her expectation.
