“We have nothing to talk about,” Cisco replied and returned his gaze to his tablet, he was trying to open a diary.

He was deleting some kinds of stuff when he found a diary and the last time he checked he didn’t install one.

He guessed it must have been Thea so he tried to read it but it is password protected, he has been trying everything possible to open it but he keeps typing the wrong password.

“Yes, we do,” Chloe replied walking closer. “I am pregnant Francisco,” she blurted

“Congratulations,” he replied with a warm smile, Chloe scoffed unbelievably.

Was that all he was going to say? Congratulations? She is carrying his child for Christ’s sake, she was expecting him to ask who the father is. But here he is ignoring her.

Cisco raised his head with a confused brow and she smiled inwardly.

‘His brain is finally working,’ she thought and her hand moved to her flat stomach as she hopes he was going to ask the long-awaited question.

“Why are you telling me though? Do you need money? Did the father run away? Do you news help catching him?” He asked whatever it was that came to his mind.

Chloe rubbed her brows with her eyes closed, she wondered when he became so daft. She opened her mouth to say something but his loud gasp shut her up.

“Is he denying his responsibilities?”

“No, he is going to take them. You know why?” She asked rhetorically.

“No, but I will if you tell me,” he replied. “It was a rhetorical question!” She groaned.

“Sorry,” he replied. “My “baby’s father,” she rubbed her stomach. “Is not the type to run away from responsibilities.”

“It’s good to know, so who is the father?” He asked. “You,” she blurted.

It felt like the clock stopped ticking for a moment, Cisco was dumbfounded. He started at her as if she had lost her mind, how could he be the father?

He touched her once by mistake he was mentally and emotionally down, why didn’t she take care of herself to avoid useless situations like this?

She is pulling a prank on him, she isn’t pregnant. She is obsessed and is looking for ways to spend more time with him.

“Why aren’t you saying anything?” She asked. “Oh, I know you are thrilled that you are going to be a dad. I know how that feels too, I felt the same way when I found out,” she answered herself with a smile.

“How did you feel?” Cisco asked. “Dumbfounded,” she replied with a smile.

“You felt that way because you had no idea you were a genius,” he stated with his fingers tapping the couch lightly.

“Pardon,” her eyes widened in shock. “You look surprised because you just got a compliment from me,” he winked.

“What are you trying to say?” She asks with an unpleasant expression, her arms now folded under her breast.

“That you are a good actress,” he replied. “Wait, you think this is what this is about, acting?” She asked the obvious.

“Yeah, you wanted to become an actress at a time,” he reminded. “I am fucking pregnant for you and you think it’s a joke?” She inquired as her voice shook slightly

“I don’t think it’s a joke, I know it’s a joke,” he answered, he dropped the tablet on the couch and stood up.

“There is no way you are pregnant and if you are I am not responsible for it.”

“You are kidding, right?” She asked. “I don’t believe you, I want a test done,” he stated and picked up his phone on the table.

“Fine, let’s get it done,” she agreed. “And if I am tested positive, you are going to tender an apology.”

“No,” he replied. “If you are I will wait until the child is born and I am going to run a paternity test, I will only apologize if the child is mine.”

“Fine,” she agreed through gritted teeth. “Let’s head to a hospital,” she added

“No, I will choose the hospital and doctor,” he stated and walked past her, she groaned before following him.

“Cheers!” Allison and Thea screamed as they clicked their glasses against each other.

Allison was having wine while Thea was having milk. “I am so happy, I feel so free,” Allison giggled.

“I am happy my plan worked,” Thea bragged. Allison just struck a deal with a Korean agency, they agreed to wait until her contract was over which will be a month before Thea gives birth.

“I know right,” she giggled. “Aunt, are you a kid?” Sol asked

“Why do you ask, Sol?” Thea questioned back. “Only kids take milk,” he pointed at the glass of milk.

“Well, I am carrying a kid,” she replied. “Oh,” he mouthed.

“I wonder if you are going to have a son or a daughter,” Allison wondered.

Thea stared at her baby bump and smiled. “I will pick mom up tomorrow,” she said with a sad smile.

“I plan on telling her the truth too, I think she is mentally stable enough,” she added.

“About Cisco?” Allison asked. “No, my dad,” she replied.

“Are we receiving a guest?” Sol asked. “Yes, a grandma,” Allison replied.

“Really? I don’t have a grandma, I am so excited,” he giggled.

“I think he is going to have a play buddy earlier than he thought,” Thea said and they laughed.

“I feel like having pasta, fried chicken, and cold beer,” Mavis listed dreamily as she walked out of her company.

She smiled and raised her head only to find Victor staring at her from afar, he flashed her a sad smile.

They have not been in contact since he left her apartment in tears, she wondered how he was doing every day and wanted to call him but didn’t have his number.

Vin did a good job of keeping her busy in the evenings too, he come every evening to wait for Thea.

It’s sick, he thinks she is going to walk into the apartment one evening and he wants to be there waiting for her.

Mavis advised him to move on but he refused, he said he wants to mend Thea’s heart after what his brother did to her.

“How are you?” Mavis asked Victor, they were now sitting on a bench under a tree.

“I never thought you would ask that again, well not anytime soon,” he replied with a smile.

“Don’t take it wrongly, I am asking because you left in a not-so-good condition the other day,” she explained briefly.

“I am grateful you are concerned,” he replied. “How are you?” She repeated.

“Fine, still trying to find out why my sister is a bítch,” he chuckled softly

“Any progress?” She asks. “None,” he replied.

“If you want you can hang out at my place,” she suggested. “Are you hitting on me?” He teased.

“In your dreams,” she rolled her eyes. “We are going to have fun with Vin, he is depressed ever since Thea left,” she added with a sigh.

“I don’t want to hang out with that dude,” he replied. “Then have fun with your sister,” she replied and stood up.

“What? Don’t say that,” he frowned as he followed her. “I am sure Chloe is going to be more fun, more fun than I and Vin will ever be,” she winked.

“You know that’s not true,” he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and she hit him.

“Ouch,” he moaned. “My skin is delicate, how can you hit me so hard?” He complained

“Don’t touch me if you don’t want to end up in an emergency room,” she warned and he chuckled

“Tada,” he touched her but was quick to move his hand before she could hit him.

“Try that…” She was cut short by his hand on her shoulder, he kept teasing her as they were away.

Chloe walked out of the test room after a few minutes, she sat beside Cisco who was frowning the whole time.

“When will the result be out?” Cisco asked Dr. Malcolm walked in after her.

“Couple of minutes,” he replied. “You might wanna go home,” he added.

“No, I don’t want mistakes,” he replied firmly. “You don’t trust me?” Dr. Malcolm asked.

“No, it’s her I don’t trust,” he gestures at Chloe. “You can hate me all you want, but nothing is going to change the fact that I am carrying your child,” Chloe said.

“My child,” he scoffed. “You can be pregnant and the child might not be mine.”

“Why don’t you want to be a father?” She asked turning to face him. “I don’t have a problem with being a father, I have a problem with you being the mother!” He blurted and the room was silent.

A couple of minutes later……

“Here is the result doctor,” A nurse gave Dr. Malcolm a piece of paper.

He took it and glanced at Cisco and Chloe before opening it.

“So, what is it?” Cisco asked anxiously.

“The result it…..” He trailed off.
