Cisco was sited at the dining table with Michell on his lap, he was feeding her. He picked up the glass of milk and let her have a sip, she wanted to have more but Cisco was scared she won’t finish her food.
Chloe walked down the stairs dressed elegantly, she removed her sunglasses when she got to the dining table.
“Are you heading somewhere?” Cisco inquired and she dropped her bag on the table. “Yes, I want to change I and Mitchell’s wardrobe,” she replied.
“Who is going to look after Mitchell?” He asked. “Take her to your parents or your office, I will pick her up later,” she replied.
“You want me to take her to my parents?” He was stunned, she has never suggested that and when he wants to she is always opposed to it.
“Yes, you said she loves it there anyway. I will pick her up once I return,” she replied and pecked Mitchell’s cheeks, she picked up her bag and walked away.
“What is she up to?” Cisco wondered as he watched her walk away. “Did she tell you what she is up to?” Cisco asked Mitchell as if she can reply there.
“I guess not,” he muttered after a few minutes. He took Mitchell to his parents as instructed by Chloe.
“Mitchell!” Mrs. Kings called with a smile but she ran towards Mr. King who was eating an apple.
“What? Since when does she like food?” Mrs. King wondered while Mr. King gave her another apple, he carried her and placed her on his lap.
She held the apple with two hands as she ate, Mr. King patted her hair slowly while Mrs. King turned to Cisco.
“How was your meeting with your son?” She asked and he sighed sadly, Vin walked out of his room and straight to the dining table.
“Not too nice,” he replied. “Why? Was she mad at you?” Mrs. King asked sadly.
“I don’t blame her, I got to meet my son she just won’t let me bring him to you,” he replied.
“Oh, I guess she hates us too,” Mrs. King mumbled. “Why would she hate us? We did nothing to hurt her,” Mr. King stated.
“Yes, but you guys should have gotten rid of Chloe instead you welcomed her with an open arm,” Vin said and walked out of the house.
“Your brother is close to her, ask him for help,” Mrs. King whispered into his ears. “Thanks, mom,” he hugged her and walked to hug Mitchell before leaving the house.
He met Vin waiting for him outside, he was standing by his car.
“Need a ride?” Cisco asked. “No, just a piece of advice,” he replied and walked closer to Cisco.
“Stay away from Thea, you are only going to hurt her. She has been feeling nothing but pain for the past two years and when she is finally healing you show up, I didn’t fulfill my promise two years ago but I won’t hesitate this time,” he closed the little gap between them and leaned closer.
“I am going to break you if you try to hurt her.”
He dust Cisco’s shoulder with a fake smile though there was no dirt on it.
“You will be late for work,” he forced a smile and walked toward his car, he glared hatefully at Cisco before getting into his car.
“There is no way he is helping me,” Cisco muttered as he watched Vin drive away.

Thea was typing on the computer in her office when a junior opened the door.
“Ma’am Thea,” she called. “Yes,” she answered and raised her head.
“You have a guest,” the junior informed. “Okay,” she muttered and stood up, she walked out of her office to the lobby and found Chloe tapping her feet impatiently on the ground.
‘Why is she here?’ They wondered and closed the gap between them. “Good morning,” she greeted.
“Morning,” Chloe smiled and removed her sunglasses. “Can we grab a cup of coffee?” She requested.
“Uh… I am at work presently and…” Chloe cut her short. “Don’t be like that, I had plans to but I suspend that to say Hi to you,” she held Thea’s hand with a smile.
“Let’s talk over coffee, please,” she pleaded. “Fine, I will just grab my cell phone,” Thea forced a smile and turn around.
She walked back to her office feeling uncomfortable, she doesn’t trust Chloe, not a bit.
She just doesn’t show up after Cisco discovered she has a child, she is up to something which is not good.
Thea picked up her phone reluctantly, she doesn’t want to have coffee with her.
Thea walked back to the lobby and Chloe flashed her a smile, Thea smiled back reluctantly.
“You look good, better than last time,” Chloe said and Thea smiled, they are in a coffee shop.
“Here are your order,” a waitress dropped two cups of coffee on the table.
“Thanks,” Chloe appreciated and pulled the cup closer while Thea just stared, Chloe, smiled and gently tuck her hair behind her ear.
“So, how have you been? You look good but I want to hear the full story, you looked like you were going to commit suicide after Cisco broke up with you,” she laughed.
The folded her fist angrily as the urge to hit Chloe builds up in her. “Sorry,” Chloe apologized as she tries not to laugh.
“What is it you want to talk about?” Thea asked. “Yes, this,” she dropped a check on the table and pushed it towards Thea.
“What is this?” Thea questioned. “This is a check of three million dollars,” she stated the obvious.
“Thanks for the response but I recognize one, I just don’t understand why you are giving this to me,” Thea replied.
“It is a gift,” she replied. “Thanks but I don’t accept such gifts, if that is all excuse me,” Thea tried to stand up but Chloe’s words stopped her.
“It must have been hard raising the child alone, right?” She asked, Thea knew she was talking about Davis but she doesn’t understand where she is driving at
“You should take that as an acknowledgment from me, you did a good job hiding his existence you should continue,” she stated.
“I don’t understand,” she furrowed her brows. “Don’t lie to me, I know you understand me perfectly. I don’t speak Latin, stay away from Cisco take this money, and travel far away. You are free to go to hell for all I care, just disappear,” she scowled.
“Does our existence bother you that much?” They asked and she frowned. “Seeing you all worked up makes me want to play this game a little longer but it is boring,” Thea rolled her eyes.
“Boring?” Chloe scoffed. “Yes, the game is boring when you play with an amateur,” Thea stated.
“Amateur?” Chloe repeated with widened eyes. “I am not the same Thea two years ago, and you and Cisco can go to hell for all I care. I and my son are going nowhere, and thanks for the charity,” Thea picked up the check and stood up
“Enjoy your coffee, alone,” she rolled her eyes and walked away.
“That bítch, I am going to teach her a lesson!” Chloe growled and everyone turned to look at her.
She noticed all eyes were on her and snapped. “Mind your business, losers!!”
Everyone turned away murmuring, but Chloe didn’t care she was mad at the universe for making her life so hard.

They stepped out of her car and stood in front of Cisco’s company, she held her bag furiously before stepping into the company.
“Good morning ma’am, how may we be of service to you,” the receptionist greeted as she stood at the counter.
“Is the CEO around?” She asked. “Yes,” the receptionist replied.
“Can I see him?” Thea asked. “Do you have an appointment?” The receptionist asked.
“No, but I am a friend,” she replied and bit her tongue regretting what she just uttered.
“I am sorry ma’am you can’t meet him without an appointment,” the receptionist replied.
“It is important I meet him, can’t you help?” She pleaded. “No, I am sorry,” she apologized and Thea bit her lips in rage, she stared at the elevator and wished she had some sort of magic.
She glanced at the receptionist who was busy with something else, Thea pretended to admire the building and she took slow steps toward the elevator
“Ma’am, where are you going?” The receptionist inquired going after her.
“I will have to call the securities,” the receptionist threatened. “They can’t stop me,” she replied and slipped into the elevator.
“Ma’am!” The receptionist screamed as the door closed. “Phew,” Thea breathed in relief.
The elevator stopped and a girl stepped in, after much contemplation Thea tapped the girl.
“Excuse me.”
“Yes,” the girl responded. “Where is the CEO’s office?” She asked.
“The ninth floor, fourth door on your left,” she described. “Thanks,” Thea smiled.
‘I am going to put an end to this,’ she thought.
