Vin looked at Octavia as if she was suddenly spewing nonsense, well it was making no sense to him.
“What do you mean? Greg is not the type to cheat,” Vin defended. “I know it’s hard to believe but it is the truth, Greg is cheating on me,” she insisted.
“Flora,” Vin called not wanting to argue with Octavia any further. “You must be cold,” he muttered and opened the car door for her, she got in and he fixed her seatbelt.
“I’ll take you to our place,” Vin said as he opened the front four for Octavia and she got in.
The ride home was quiet because Vin couldn’t get his mind off what Octavia told him, he found it hard to believe.
“Flora,” Octavia called and turn to find her asleep. “She is tired,” she said and sighed.
Octavia glanced at Vin who looked confused should I say lost in thought. “You don’t believe me, do you?” She asked and he rubbed his temple.
“To be candid, I don’t know,” that was his reply. “It is hard belief but it Is the truth, tells me he stays out late and when I demand an explanation he picks a fight. Why will he do that if he isn’t cheating?” She asked out of frustration.
“I would advise you to calm down Octavia and you two should talk like grown-ups,” Vin uttered suggestively.
“I doubt that will help,” she mumbled and stared away.
Mrs. Kings was waiting anxiously in the living room, it was getting late when Vin suddenly rushed out of the house and he drove at a high speed.
A smile appeared on her as she saw the car drive in, she ran out of the house but halted immediately as she sighted Octavia.
Why was Vin with Octavia so late? What about her husband? Those were the questions that rang in Mrs. King’s mind.
“Mom,” Octavia called as she walked out of the car while Vin carried Flora in his arms.
“Octavia,” she called quite surprised and Octavia hugged her. “What’s wrong sweetie?” Mrs. Kings inquired.
“I suggest we go inside,” Vin said behind them and they went into the house.
“What happened to your wrist?” Mrs. Kings asked as she sat on the couch.
“I’ll take Flora to my room,” Vin said and left for his room.
“Greg hurt me, mom,” Octavia cried. “What? Did he beat you? I didn’t raise a human beater,” she spoke in awe.
“He didn’t beat me but he is cheating mom,” she blurted. “I don’t believe that,” Mrs. Kings shook her head in denial.
“I know it’s hard to believe but he has not been coming home, he picks a fight when I asked about his whereabouts. I’m exhausted mom,” she cried and Mrs. Kings hugged her.
“You should rest, I will talk to Greg tomorrow,” Mrs. Kings said and escorted her to the guest room.
“Do you believe her?” Vin asked Mrs. Kings as she walked out of the guest room Octavia slept in.
“I don’t, we both know change of personality is the best Greg is good at, I wouldn’t be surprised if he is up to no good,” She replied
“You should give him a chance to explain before jumping to a conclusion,” Vin said. “Good Night,” he added and went into his room.
He covered Flora with the duvet and slept beside her, he pats her until he fell asleep too.

Cisco stood nervously in front of Thea’s room, he has not seen her since the previous night.
He was worried he made her angry, he was a bit too harsh on her.
“Thea,” his voice was soft as he knocked on the door. “Good Morning,” he greeted.
“Emr… Let’s have breakfast,” He stammered shortly but got no response.
“Thea, are you mad at me?” He asked but there was still no response, he took a deep breath and held the doorknob.
He opened the door slowly and tuck his head between the door, the room was empty.
He walked in fully and walked towards the bathroom, he knocked gently on it and waited for some sort of reaction or a response but there was nothing.
“Are you in there?” Cisco asked, he decided to open the door. The bathroom was empty and he felt his heart race.
“Thea? Where are you?” He asked as he paced around the room.
“Is she angry? Did she leave? Oh, God what am I going to do?” He panicked as he paced around the room.
“A note… A note,” he muttered as he walked towards the bed but there was nothing, she should have left a note if she was leaving.
“Was she kidnapped? Is it HE?” He wondered as he walked towards the bed.
“There is no sign of struggle, no note, she must have left willingly. But, why? Was she mad at me?”
Cisco uttered to himself as he parade the room like a detective at a crime scene.
He ran out of the room to the living room, he met Fiona chatting with a maid.
“Where is Thea?” He asked. “I don’t know sir, she has not left her room” Fiona replied.
“She is not in her room! She is not here!” He screamed and Fiona flinched.
“I… I saw her leaving the mansion late at night yesterday,” the maid said.
“Where did she go?” Cisco asked. “I have no idea, sir,” she replied and he rubbed his face.
“She left, she really left…… why? I was too harsh, wasn’t I? I was a weakling…. A fucking weakling!”
He ranted as he paced in the room, sweats were running down his head, he was scared. He never thought his past will ruin his present
He shouldn’t have, he shouldn’t have called Chloe that night, what was he thinking?
He was scared of losing her to his brother, he loved and wanted to be with her. He called her to meet up, but they never met and her dead body was found the next day.
Maybe she would still be alive if she didn’t leave her house, it’s his fault he murdered her.
“Sir,” Fiona called and he ran upstairs. “This is bad,” Fiona muttered.
The door opened minutes later and Thea walked in, she looked pretty exhausted.
“Ma’am!” Fiona screamed happily and rushed to hug her. “Why do you sound like your greatest wish has been granted?” Thea asked as she was oblivion of the situation.
“You are right, my greatest wish has just been granted. You should go upstairs, so Cisco is worried about you,” Fiona informed.
“Cisco? Why will Cisco be worried about me when he told me he needed some space?” Thea asked.
“I think he has more than enough space,” Fiona replied. “Either way, you should head upstairs,” the maid said and Thea nodded, she walked slowly upstairs.
Thea could hear the sound of a whimper from Cisco’s room, she opened the door and met him crying on the couch. There was a picture in front of him.
“Francisco,” she called and he raised his head. “Thea?!” He screamed and rushed to hug her
“Why are you acting as if you miss me?” She asked.
“Of course, I missed you. I thought you left, I was scared of losing you, please don’t ever leave me,” he pleaded as he cried more.
“Hey, you sound like a lover boy right now,” she said and disengage from the hug, he stared at her face for a while then her lips.
“You will never leave me right?” He asked and crashed his lips on hers without waiting for an answer.
Thea was stunned so it took a while for her to react to the kiss, she returned the kiss slowly and before they knew it they were on the bed
Cisco broke the kiss for her to catch her breath, she gasp for air as they stared at each other’s faces.
“I love you, Thea,” he confessed. “I…,’ she paused and stared into his eyes.
‘You don’t have to say it when you are not ready,” he said and she nodded.
“Just remember that I love you,” with that being said he claimed her lips again, he kissed her passionately and she returned every kiss with the same affection.
She might not be strong enough to tell him what she feels but she is willing to show it.

Mrs. Kings called Greg the next day to come over, he demanded reasons but Mrs. Kings gave none she just insisted on his visitation.
“Mom,” Greg called as he walked into the mansion but Mr. Kings was in the living room instead
“Do your family have a plan of relocating here?” Mr. Kings asked slightly annoyed.
Before Greg could ask what he meant Flora walked out of the kitchen with a mug which you can tell the content in it was hot due to the steam emitting from it.
The mug dropped immediately Flora saw Greg and Octavia and Mrs. Kings rushed out of the kitchen in concern for her.
