“Flora, are you okay?” Octavia asked beside her, she had not noticed Greg’s presence yet.

“Dear,” Mrs. Kings called when all she did was stare in a particular direction. They (Mrs. Kings and Octavia) looked in the direction she was staring at and found Greg standing.

“What are you doing here?” Octavia asked calmly and he walked closer but stopped creating a safe distance.

“Mom, called me,” Greg answered, he had no emotion whatsoever in his eyes. Wasn’t he supposed to feel guilty? Doesn’t he feel sorry for the poor little girl?

“Take care of Flora,” Mrs. Kings said and Octavia went back to the kitchen with Flora but not without glancing at Greg’s cold face. A maid went to clean the mess on the floor.

“Mommy, are we going back home?” Flora asked. “Do you want to go home?” Octavia asked

“Will daddy hurt you?” She questioned back instead.

“Why do you ask?” Octavia inquired. “I don’t want you guys to fight, if staying here means no fight then I see no reason why we can’t,” she answered innocently and honestly.

“I’m sorry princess,” Octavia said and hugged her. “Why are you sorry? You did nothing wrong,” Flora mumbled.

“I know…. I know.”

She repeated as she hugged her tighter, Flora wrapped her arms around her too with her eyes closed.

While in the living room, Greg was sited on the couch with his mom and dad.

“Why did you hurt your wife?” Mrs. Kings started questioning. “It was not intentional,” he answered.

“Have you been staying out late?” Mrs. Kings asked. “Yes,” he replied nonchalantly and Mrs. Kings scoffed in disbelief, the Greg sited in front of her is not the Greg she raised.

“Mind telling us what you have been doing?”

Greg was quiet after Mrs. King’s question he glanced at his father and then at the floor. “Yes,” he replied.

“Why? Are you cheating on your wife?” Mrs. Kings inquired. “No,” he replied honestly.

“Why are you cold towards her then?” Mrs. Kings asked. “I have to go to work, mom,” he said checking the time on his wristwatch.

“She can stay with you for as long as she wants, I’ll come back for them or they are free to come home when they want,” he said instead and stood up.

“Gregory!” Mrs. Kings snapped. “Thanks for caring mom, you guys should have a nice day,” he said and walked towards the door.

“I think I’m interested in this,” Mr. Kings said and stood up, he followed Greg outside.

Mrs. Kings sighed and rubbed her forehead frustratedly, why do her boys give her headaches?

She turned in direction of the kitchen and saw Octavia standing with Flora, it seemed like they heard the whole story.

While outside Mr. Kings met up with Greg before he could get into his car. “Son,” he called and Greg simply turned around without saying a word.

“Wanna talk about it?” Mr. Kings asked. “No, but you will find out once I’m done,” that was his response before getting into his car.

Mr. Kings stood outside and watched him drive away, he knew something was up with his son but he was oblivion of what it is.

Thea and Cisco had breakfast in his room, he received a call from April to take the day off. So all the work was his to do and he didn’t feel like leaving the house so he asked her to send everything to his mail.

“Need my help?” Thea asked behind her. “No, you should study,” he replied.

“Are you sure?” Thea asked and he nodded, she went to sit on the bed and took his tab.

She was studying when her phone rang, she picked it up and walked out of the room not to disturb Cisco.

“What’s up girl,” Mavis said over the phone. “Did you do it?” Thea asked.

“No, well not yet. I don’t have his phone number or home address, I’ll wait for him to reach me first,” She replied.

“Okay, so why’d you call?” Thea asked. “It’s boring here at work, my boss is mad at me because I didn’t meet with the client and took the day off. He is ignoring my presence and it’s annoying, he’s acting like a dîck,” Mavis uttered with so much anger.

“I’m guessing you call to take out your anger,” Thea said and walked to the other living room upstairs.

“Maybe, I couldn’t think of anyone else. Should we meet up? It’s almost time for my lunch anyways,” Mavis said and Thea shook her head sideways.

“I can’t, Cisco isn’t feeling too well, he’s staying at home so I should stay with him,” she replied. “But don’t worry babe, I’ll make it up to you,” she said.

“Love you, babe,” Thea said and hang up.

“Who was it you spoke to?” Cisco asked, sounding like a jealous boyfriend as Thea walked towards the bed.

“You sound jealous,” She teased. “It’s normal because I love you,” he confessed and her cheeks flushed red.

“I know,” she replied and picked the tab up. “Was it a guy?” Cisco asked, a little possessive.

“No, it was a girl,” she replied and he smiled in relief, his phone beeped indicating a message.

He picked it up and read the content.

A photo was sent after it, it was a picture of Chloe’s dead body.

She was stabbed and countless bruises of torture were on her body.

Greg got off work quite early and went to an abandoned house, it was not really abandoned.

It looked old and scary outside, more like a house a ghost will haunt but it was neat and perfect inside.

“Welcome sir,” a lady greeted. “How was your day, April?” He asked, yeah April Cisco’s secretary.

“Fine, he didn’t report for work today,” April reported, she referred to Cisco.

“We need to stop HIM,” he mumbled and walked into another room, a guy was sited on a swivel chair backing them.

“You are here,” he said and turned the chair around, it happened to be none other than Victor.

“Yes,” he replied and diverted his attention to the investigation board.

Pictures and old newspapers were on it, and a picture of Cisco was crossed with an X sign.

“Except my little bro, one of them is the culprit and I need to save my brother from him or her,” Greg said and turned to face Victor and April.

Victor was now standing and April held a document, he handed it over to Greg.

A quick rewind, Victor Cruz is the elder brother of Chloe Cruz, Cisco’s ex-girlfriend.

April is Chloe’s childhood best friend, and they all work towards the same goal. To catch the killer.

Greg found out crucial information about two months ago, he hated himself and regretted his actions toward his baby brother.

He asked April to be Cisco’s secretary so she could spy on him. April has been feeding Greg info about Cisco’s life, the plan was to take him down but things changed after he found out, that Cisco was not the culprit.

Victor came back to the country because Greg persuade him, he has been in the country for a month and a half and just about a month ago.

A strange guy has been sending an anonymous message to Cisco, they refer to the fellow as HIM.

Greg goes home late because they need to come up with a perfect plan to catch HIM.

“The suspects are, Vincent Kings, Mr. Kings, Miss Allison, Mrs. Kings, Octavia Kings, and Mavis Grey,” April read.

And Mavis’s incident with Greg was planned so he could plant a bug on her.

Why are these people Suspects?

“Vincent Kings is my youngest brother who was aware of the love triangle between Cisco, Me, and Chloe. He could have heard Cisco’s phone call that night and followed Chloe. Mr. Kings, my dad was aware of the situation and never liked Chloe.

Miss Allison is Francisco’s present girlfriend, she had a crush on him years back she could have eliminated Chloe, Mrs. Kings no mother would want her sons to fight over a girl, she could be the culprit too.

Octavias kings knew me back in the days and hit on me twice, I was in love with Chloe back then so she has the motive of a killer too.

Mavis Grey, Chloe didn’t like Mavis because she was a flirt but was in love with Mr. Victor Cruz, she could have eliminated Chloe to have her brother all to herself,” Greg passed and turned to look at the pictures.

“Among this is our culprit,” he said while they all stared at the pictures.

“Hey guys,” a voice said with a smile behind them and they turned around to face her.

“Started the meeting without me?” She asked with a smirk.
