“So Jeremy, you’re telling me that, the man with the blonde hair blue eyes over there is, Noah Leonhart?”
“Yes… You’re working here and don’t know your own boss.?” Jeremy laughed.
“Holy sh!t” Calista cussed.
“Holy what?” Jeremy scoffed. “Wait! You really didn’t know Noah is the actual Noah.?
“I definitely did not know that.”Calista shook her head.
“Have you been living under a rock or what?” Jeremy scoffed.
Calista looked down at Janice and her lips curved into a smile.
“While don’t you hurry up to your dad, I’ll see you another time” Calista beamed, and Janice nodded frantically before making a turn and running up to Noah.
“Holy crap!” Calista scoffed as she watched Janice go. “I mean I kind of did suspected that he might be Noah Leonhart but I never actually got to put that down and realize it is actually him.”
“Okay… Did you not make your research?” Jeremy asked.
“I did, but not about Noah.” Calista replied.
She glanced at Noah to see him talking to Janice beside a car and turned back to Jeremy.
“Let’s just get out of here.” Calista sighed.
:
Standing at the sidewalk, waiting for a taxi, Calista turned to her side and gave Jeremy a look.
“Aren’t you leaving? Is there something you want?” Calista asked.
“Well…” Jeremy smiled. “There is.”
“Well, spill it then, instead of following me around and saying nothing” Calista huffed.
“Well I’m pretty sure you’re going to say no to this.” Jeremy nodded.
A taxi suddenly slowed down as it got to where Calista and Jeremy stood, but Jeremy suddenly shook his head at the taxi driver, causing him to drive away.
“Hey,!” Calista scoffed. “You know I’ve been waiting for that taxi.”
“Sorry.” Jeremy apologized. “I was wondering… I am having a small, should I say celebration with two friends of mine at a cake shop, I was wondering if you’d like to come.”
Calista threw her eyebrows up. “Let’s see, you drove my taxi away, hoping I’d say yes?”
“I guess.” Jeremy swallowed adjusting his backpack.
“Well, you have your friends, why do I need to be included, I don’t want to be like a fourth wheel, or the only stranger and female there.” Calista explained.
“There’s nothing like a fourth wheel, and trust me you won’t be a stranger or the only female there.” Jeremy sighed.
“Look here Jeremy, we just met, it hasn’t been up to a week since we’ve known each other, I like that you’re open and wants to invite me to you birthday party or stuff, but you don’t even kn-
“And does that even matter? I’m just inviting you out? It’s okay fine, I get it if you don’t want to.” Jeremy shrugged.
Calista rolled her eyes. “Now you’re making me feel bad.”
“To be honest, you’re kind of the only person I talk to here, aside from my department’s manager, ever since Mr blondie over there fired some of his workers, I kind of lost the people I talk to, and aren’t we friends? I thought we are, but I’m sorry if I think we are and you don’t, I clearly didn’t know you would have to know and understand someone for a week before you become their friend.”
“Okay now you’re misunderstanding the whole thing, fine! I’ll go to your celebration..!” Calista half yelled.
“Fantastic” Jeremy smiled.
:
:
“Happy birthday Jeremiah?” Calista scoffed, sitting opposite Jeremy and staring down at the cake, a waiter suddenly dropped on their table. “Okay, go get your money back.” Calista added and Jeremy laughed.
“It’s okay, it’s just a mistake, I can sit for Jeremiah.”
Calista shook your head. “It’s your birthday, mistakes are not allowed, I saw your face when you read Jeremiah.”
“It’s okay.” Jeremy added grabbing the lighter to lit up the cake when Calista dropped her purse and grabbed the cake.
“What are you doing?” Jeremy asked.
“Doing what you’re supposed to do.” Calista mumbled, before walking away and to checkout counter to complain.
Dropping the cake on the counter, the waiter behind the counter threw Calista a look.
“How may I help you ma’am? Is there something wrong with the cake?”.
“Well my friend over there, whose birthday is today, ordered a cake and asked for his name to be written on the cake and instead of Jeremy, he got Jeremiah. And don’t say they’re the same name because they’re definitely not.” Calista rushed her words.
The waiter gave a bitter smile. “we’ll fix that immediately” He said before grabbing the cake and walking towards a closed door behind the counter.
Calista walked back to the table and after sitting down, she gave Jeremy a smile. “Now no mistakes should be allowed on birthdays.”
“Thanks. You are one of a kind.” Jeremy widen his eyes as he spoke. “I would have eaten the cake like that”.
“Jeremiah would have eaten the cake not you” Calista replied, causing Jeremy to laugh.
Calista looked around and then at the door, and asked “When are your friends coming anyways?”
Jeremy eyes widen in shock and he suddenly looked away clearing his throat.
“What’s with that expression?” Calista scoffed resting her elbows on the table.
“I uhm… My friends… Well no one’s coming.” Jeremy beamed.
“What?” Calista scoffed.
“I mean, I did invite them, but sadly they were too busy to show up” Jeremy sighed adding air quote around ‘busy’ “I kind of didn’t want to show up here alone, it’s embarrassing.” Jeremy’s voice was low.
Calista gave him a pitiful look. “Ouch.”
“Don’t look at me like that, my life is not that pathetic” Jeremy scoffed.
“What if they’re actually busy” Calista shrugged.
“They’re not,my friends, they’re like different towards me, I notice this but haven’t voiced it out to them, they just feel like everything I do is annoying and that I shouldn’t include them.”
“And you call them your friends. Your friends wouldn’t see anything you do annoying.” Calista shook her head.
“I know, but they’re still my friends.” Jeremy shrugged tucking his hair behind his ear.
“They’re not.” Calista pointed out.
Jeremy’s cake was finally brought back and corrected.
“Finally” Jeremy breathed out.
“It looks okay, but the r is a little crooked here” Calista complained and the waiter gave her a sharp look.
“The r is just fine.” Jeremy suddenly spoke up and the waiter smiled before walking away.
“Okay, thank you for helping me with the cake, but if you notice little things, keep it to yourself or we’re going to get kicked out” Jeremy smiled.
“I’m just doing the best I can… For a friend.” Calista shrugged.
Jeremy tried to his flustered face as he grabbed the lighter, lightning up the single candle on the cake.
“So as usual, you blow out the candle and make a wish right?” Calista beamed.
“Make a wish? I just blow out the candle and eat my cake. You make wishes when they never come true.” Jeremy shrugged. “But well, I do remember when I was thirteen and wished for a new video game player and got one, thanks to my grandma”.
“You see, it does come true, sometimes. So hurry up and make a wish.” Calista beamed.
“Fine.” Jeremy sighed, and after saying quiet for a while he blew out the candle.
“So? What did you wish for?” Calista asked.
“A good year.” Jeremy replied.
Calista sighed. “You were supposed to tell me, I asked so you’d tell me ‘if I tell you my wish it won’t come true”.
“Well I told you anyways. Time eat the cake.” Jeremy grabbed the knife on the table and immediately stabbed the cake.

Staring down at his watch, Adrian adjusted his blazed multiple times waiting for Mika to step out of the door. They had both planned a dinner date that evening, and Mika’s taking a lot of time to get dressed.
Adrian finally breathed out a sigh when he heard Mika’s heels as it hits the tiled floor.
“Im ready” Mika announced walking into the living room
“About Tim-
Adrian paused to look at his finance’s outfit, the velvet material black dress on her body looked tempting, it looked too tempting, as both sides of the clothing had an opening and were only holding on by a black rope, it exposed less cleavage than usual, and exposed her long attractive legs.
“You look amazing.” Adrian complimented.
“Thank you” Mika beamed.
“But I am afraid, you’ll have to take it off” Adrian added
“What?” Mika almost yelled.
“What the hell do you think you’re wearing, look at your thighs, your boobs.” Adrian scoffed.
“You’re joking” Mika bat her lashed.
“I am not, if you dress like this to McCain’s, I am afraid all eyes are going to be on you, I don’t want people looking at my fiance like that”
“Adrian, I am not putting on this dress for anyone, I am wearing it because I love it, I do not care if people stare at me and you’ve never had a problem with me putting on dresses like this?” Mika scoffed.
“Well maybe I got a little too sensitive over the time, but it’s too revealing, take it off” Adrian yelled, his voice demanding and thick.
“What? Bu-
“No buts Mika… Go change.” Adrian ordered.
“Fine.” Mika swallowed, and made a turn blinking away the tears in her eyes.
:
“Cheers.” Calista and Jeremy hit glasses and aggressively gulped down the alcohol down their throat.
“There’s nothing like having cake with Jeda, it’s literally one of the best alcoholic drink out there.” Calista licked her bottom lip as she spoke.
Jeremy’s eyes moved from her lips to his cake. “Okay careful, not to get drunk.”
“Don’t worry, this is my last cup, I drank so much on Monday and couldn’t take it the next day” Calista sighed.
“Good thing you have a lesson to look back on.” Jeremy laughed, his dimple’s appearing.
“So how about we take a picture?” Jeremy suggested.
“Sure, a picture’s fine.” Calista shrugged, getting on her feet and sitting beside Jeremy, who suddenly grabbed his camera.
“I’ll set it on timer and we’ll have our picture perfect.”.
They both took random pictures and multiple pictures, having fun making funny faces and laughing their ass off until Calista recieved a strange message from Mika.
“Do you even think Adrian and I are meant to be?”
